Chandigarh Transport Undertaking (CTU) has taken an initiative to connect with tricity people by organizing “Nukkar Nataks” at ISBT 43, Chandigarh.
“Samvaad Theater Group Chandigarh” has been engaged by CTU to organize such “Nataks” every fortnight to aware the public with respect to the projects and initiatives being taken by CTU and Chandigarh Administration . A “Nukkar Natak” was presented today to aware and promote the newly introduced Electric Buses on the Express routes.

CTU has already deployed 26 electric buses on three express routes i.e. I1E (ISBT-17 to Kharar), SU4E PGI to Panchkula Bus Stand) and 551E (ISBT-43 to PGI). The express route will have a frequency of 10 minutes with limited stoppages to curtail the travel time for the commuters.The other 14 electric buses will also be put into operations by December end.

Sh. Pradhuman Singh, Director Transport, Sh. Yashjeet Gupta, General Manager, Chandigarh City Bus Service Society and Sh. Amit Gupta, General Manager Chandigarh Transport Undertaking were present at the event.
